New Year, new start!
Yeah right…
My new year started off with a car accident on my way to the airport (minor though, thank God…)
I hurt my neck, but I’m alive! (You probably figured that one out already, since I’m writing this w.o.m.m.)
Made it to Austria, Bad Gastein!! So beautiful!!
The best skiing ever! I loved it!!!
The food not so much….
2 days into the trip, I got sick–the WORST cold ever!
I got better, then I hurt my neck again, this time I could not move… TORTICOLLIS!!
I should have played with the kids instead… A LOT safer..
No more skiing for Anna, but I could still eat the BEST chocolate!
On our way home we could not get a cab, we had to take the train to the airport…
The train and I have zero chemistry, crowded, drunk older men who are in your face, saying something in German, (thank God I don’t understand German!!) Although I now know ONE word “FRÜCHT TÜTE”. It means “fruit bag”. It was the only thing eatable in Austria (from McDonald’s.)
Now I’m back in Sweden. I will soon leave to NYC, then LA. I will not miss you, cold, cold, COLD weather….
Well…Good start on a new year, it can only get better!! Or worse… Time will tell
